PolitiFact

PolitiFact was originally developed to fact-check what the presidential candidates were saying during the 2008 election. But with a re-launch on Jan. 14, 2009, PolitiFact is now fact-checking the players in Washington and beyond. We've also added the Obameter, which is tracking more than 500 promises President Obama made during his run for the presidency.

PolitiFact was the first web application I ever built. It's built in Django.
